Experts from the University of Reading and Fraunhofer AISEC analyzed the audio using deepfake detection models and found it had a 93.6% probability of being AI-generated. Dr. Dominic Lees noted the unusual fluency typical of synthetic speech, while Nicolas Muller's detection tool identified specific AI generation fingerprints. The same user had previously posted other inauthentic content, including a fake Trump video. BBC disinformation analyst Shayan Sardarizadeh confirmed the clip was AI-generated and created for parody.
