The perpetrator combined the faces of at least 22 female students aged 17-18 with bodies of other women to create pornographic content, which he then uploaded to pornography websites using the victims' real names and surnames. The incident was discovered when two 17-year-old victims began receiving Instagram solicitations from men aged 40-50 who had found the fake images online. One victim chatted with a solicitor and learned about the fake pornographic content. The case was reported to authorities, leading to criminal charges of serious injuries aggravated by gender violence under Law 26.485 for Protection against Violence against Women. A search of the perpetrator's home revealed the computer and cellphone used to give orders and material to the AI program. Two victims are currently receiving psychological treatment, with one showing psychological damage confirmed by psychiatric evaluation. The prosecutor charged the student with serious injuries qualified by gender violence, marking an unprecedented legal resolution in Argentina for AI-related gender violence. Twenty additional female students reported being victims of similar fake images in a separate contraventional proceeding for harassment aggravated by gender violence.
