1.1 Organisations that develop, deploy or use AI systems shall designate an individual or individuals who are accountable for the organisation’s compliance with those principles. 1.2 The identity of the individual(s) designated by the organisation to oversee the organisation’s compliance with the principles shall be made known upon request. 1.3 Organisations that develop, deploy or use AI systems shall implement policies and practices to give effect to the principles if the Policy Framework for Responsible AI or other adopted principles (including analogous principles that may be developed for a specific industry), including: i. establishing processes to determine whether, when and how to implement a “Responsible AI Impact Assessment” process; ii. establishing and implementing “Responsible AI by Design” principles; iii. establishing procedures to receive and respond to complaints and inquiries; iv. training staff and communicating to staff information about the organisation’s policies and practices; and v. developing information to explain the organisation’s policies and procedures.
