One deepfake video titled 'jerk-off challenge' received over 270,000 views. The alleged activities continued for over 10 years, even after Fernandes made the issue public in 2023. In December 2024, after Fernandes filed a complaint against unknown perpetrators, Ulmen allegedly confessed to her, stating he acted 'out of a kind of possessive thinking.' Fernandes has filed criminal charges in Spain, where the couple previously lived, alleging identity theft, disclosure of secrets, public defamation, habitual abuse and serious threats. The case has sparked protests in Germany with over 10,000 people gathering in Berlin to support Fernandes and call for stronger laws against digital violence.
